Overview

Respondent is a VC-backed research platform that connects vetted participants with teams at companies like Canva, Anthropic, and Stripe. As Product Design Lead I set design direction across both sides of the marketplace and the strategic shift to an AI-native product, partnering with product and engineering on where the business goes next.

Taking the researcher app AI-native

I led the researcher-app redesign behind Respondent's strategic move to become AI-native: a fundamental rethink of how researchers run studies, with AI built into the core workflow rather than bolted on. The work set the product direction for this phase of the company.

Growing the participant marketplace

I reshaped the participant side of the marketplace to lift engagement and liquidity, making it faster for participants to find and commit to the right studies. Healthier participant supply directly strengthens the value researchers get from the platform.

A brand refresh to support the reposition

Alongside the product work I delivered a refreshed brand and logo with the first batch of changes, giving the repositioned product a coherent identity to build on.
